SECL recently completed the upgrading of the handrails to comply with current building regulations to the entrance of the National Portrait Gallery on Charing Cross Road.

Working closely with the project architects, engineers and facility managers to ensure any designs complied with not only current regulations, but also listed building consent, we undertook adaptions to the salvaged metalwork, reconfiguring the Portland stone plinths, and matching natural stone indents.

Works were completed within a very tight deadline and received commendation from the project design team.
