Works are completed to this nineteenth-century iron-making blast furnace located in Moira, Leicestershire, on the banks of the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Canal.

Acting as a specialist subcontractor, SECL were appointed to undertake sympathetic masonry repairs such as carefully executed lime rendering, essential brick replacement, lime pointing, structural repairs and minor rebuilding, all under the watchful eye of the local conservation officer and project architect.

It has been an honour to work on one of the few remaining blast furnaces from this period.
